Greater transparency and control in distributed networks

EndianOS 6.9

Version 6.9 of our EndianOS operating system is here. With this release, we are expanding the Endian Secure Digital Platform for modern and distributed IT and OT infrastructures. Version 6.9 offers enhanced security for remote access, simplified onboarding of new gateways, improved hardware compatibility, and higher performance.

The infrastructure of modern enterprises is highly distributed today, making secure remote access increasingly important. At the same time, network complexity is rising, along with the demands for security, control, and regulatory compliance. With the new release of EndianOS, we address this trend and enable greater flexibility while ensuring maximum control and transparency.

The new release offers:

  • Greater control over remote access: Administrators can pre-approve remote access requests, remote access sessions can be recorded, and Privileged Access Management (PAM) helps organizations control access with elevated privileges.
  • On-Demand Layer 2 VPN: Direct Layer 2 access enables support for SCADA or legacy protocols, as well as the integration of devices that do not offer traditional Layer 3 communication (TCP/IP).
  • Optimized Gateway Onboarding: Simpler, more transparent, and therefore faster. Saves time and costs and increases operational reliability in complex environments.
  • Kernel Upgrade: Improved memory management, optimized workload scheduling, and overall higher system stability.

With this new release, we are making our Endian Secure Digital Platform ready to meet the demands of modern IT and OT network architectures.
