
Responsibilities
- Investigating and resolving technical issues
- Diagnosing hardware and software malfunctions
- Answering customer inquiries and providing guidance to users
- Escalating complex issues
- Documenting issues and solutions
- Working with internal teams
- Identifying and implementing process improvements
- Staying up-to-date on new technologies
Profile and skills
- minimum of 3 years of experience in Linux system administration:
- updates, package management (rpm), services (systemd)
- scripting (bash, python)
- debugging:
- log analysis (system logs)
- bug replication
- minimum of 3 years of experience in Linux networking:
- netfilter / iptables
- routing
- IPS/IDS (snort)
- VPNs (OpenVPN, IPSEC)
- network debugging (routes, packet analysis)
- experience with managing firewalls and UTM appliances
- familiar with Agile workflow and Atlassian tools (jira, bitbucket, confluence)
- ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems efficiently
- good written and verbal communication skills in English and Italian
- ability to provide excellent customer service and support
- ability to think critically and solve complex problems
- ability to adapt to new technologies and changing environments
