The ECSA certification validates a network security professional‘s ability to maintain day-to-day operations of Endian solutions. The course is designed to get a full understanding of the Endian systems just starting from the bottom of Linux layer, up to the GUI and the available functionalities. Proficiencies acquired during this course provide a solid base for Endian configurations including setting up network zones, internet uplinks and routing, implementing security policies for all OSI layers (data link, network, transport, application), managing proxies authentication and profiles, managing VPNs, analysing logs and reports, as well as administrating the Endian hotspot solution. Troubleshooting skills using the command line are also taught.

The ECSE is Endian‘s highest level of professional certification, designed for Endian experts who want to enforce advanced settings, customs configurations and the most complex troubleshooting using built in and external tools to the curriculum.
The profile of the Endian Security Expert relies on proficiencies achieved in the ECSA level such as planning, implementing and basic troubleshooting network architectures using Endian products and is completed with the deepest knowledge of Endian architecture by real examples and best practices.
Special focus is put on the candidate‘s ability to diagnose and repair Endian UTM installations through the command line as well as on the knowledge of the single services.
