Megafreight in South Africa selects Endian UTM

Endian UTM is monitoring traffic, securing networks and filtering Web browsing for Megafreight, an international freight forwarder ranking among the top 10 leading forwarders in South Africa.

After a six-months test of our community edition, Megafreight decided to switch to enterprise products, and four Endian UTM Macro X1 appliances have been acquired and deployed from Letlhaka Technologies, our partner in South Africa.

“We have been using the Endian UTM appliances in a number of our network deployments, and have yet to find a product in the market with similar features that is quite as easy to set up and at the same price level,” says Letlhaka's technical Director Riaan Janse van Rensburg. “Endian is the ideal unified threat management device for a business environment where you typically want your road warriors to VPN into the office, and you want to control Internet and e-mail usage for your employees.”
